Pope Tawadros II Receives Australia’s Ambassador to Egypt

Cairo -Egypt: H.H. Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria received Ambassador Axel Wabenhorst, the new Australian Ambassador in Egypt in his Papal Residence on 13 December 2022.

According to the official statement, “the meeting came with the aim of getting acquainted, as H.H. presented to the Ambassador an overview of the history of the Coptic Orthodox Church and Egypt, and about our Churches in Australia, and about the good relationships of the Church with the Governments, Al Azhar and all other Churches”.
