Ukrainian Orthodox Church Recognized Canonical and Autocephalous Status of Macedonian Orthodox Church

Kyiv – Ukraine: The meeting Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church recognized the Canonical and Autocephalous Status of the Macedonian Orthodox Church on 23 November 2022.
This also led to the addition of the name of the primate of the Macedonian Orthodox Church in the Diptych of Primates of Local Orthodox Churches and the name of His Beatitude Archbishop Stephen of Ohrid and Macedonia will be commemorated by the Primate of our Church at every divine service.
The Holy Synod of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church unanimously recognized the Autocephaly of the Macedonian Orthodox Church in June 2022. Later Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople, Antiochian, Russian, Bulgarian, Greek, and Polish Orthodox Churches also accepted the autocephaly of the Macedonian church.
