Athens- Greece: The Holy Synod of the Hierarchy of the Church of Greece held on October 7, 2022, elected new Metropolitans for the Metropolis of Drama and Ilia.

Bishop Athanasios of Olena was elected as the Metropolitan of Metropolitan See of Ilia and Archimandrite Dorotheos Paparis as Metropolitan of Metropolitan See of Drama.
