Armenians all over the world commemorate the Sumgait Victims

On February 27 the memory of the victims of Sumgait tragedy was commemorated in Berlin.
The participants gathered at the Humboldt University of Berlin and marched to the Brandenburg Gate. They distributed leaflets condemning Azerbaijan’s crime.
Speeches were delivered by the President of the German Armenian Central Council Azat Ordukhanyan, NKR Representative to Germany Harutyun Grigoryan, President of the Armenian Church and Cultural Union of Berlin Petros Dikichyan, Armenia’s Ambassador to Germany Armen Martirosyan. Pieces of national and religious music were performed.
The 23rd anniversary of the Sumgait pogroms was commemorated also in Aleppo, Saint Petersburg, Damascus, Beirut and other places.
