George also presented the Catholicos with a copy of the first part of the book \u2018Western Rites of Syriac-Malankara Orthodox Churches\u2019.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Instituted in 2009, Metropolitan Alvares Julius Research Project (MARP\u2122) is the pilot initiative to research and study Western Rite communities (Latin, Anglo Rites &amp; Independent Catholic movements) of Oriental Orthodox Churches with special reference to Syriac and Indian Orthodox Malankara Churches. Dr. Ajesh T. Phlip is the Head and Chief Research Officer of MARP.
