Pope Tawadros II Receives Maronite Catholic Patriarch-Cardinal Bechara Boutros

Cairo-Egypt: His Holiness Pope Tawadros II received at the papal headquarters in Cairo 0n 19/3/22 Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East for the Catholic Maronites in Lebanon, accompanied by His Eminence Archbishop George Shehan, Maronite Metropolitan in Egypt, and an accompanying delegation from the Maronite Church.

In his speech, His Holiness welcomed the visit of His Beatitude the Patriarch and the accompanying delegation to Egypt and the Coptic Church. His Eminence Anba Daniel, Bishop of Maadi, Secretary of the Holy Synod, Anba Julius, General Bishop of Ancient Egypt and the Episcopate of Public and Social Services, Anba Angelos, General Bishop of the North Shubra Sector Churches, and Anba Clement, General Bishop of the Churches of Almaza Sector, City of Hope and East City,  Mr. Gerges Saleh, Coordinator of Relations for the Coptic Church in the Middle East Council of Churches, a number of priests, members of the Coptic Orthodox Secretariat and some of the deacons of the seminary college took part in the event.
