Patriarch Abune Merkorios of Ethiopia Hospitalised

Addis Ababa – Ethiopia: Abune Merkorios, the Co-Patriarch of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church is currently hospitalized for medical treatment. Co-Patriarch Abune Mathias and a high-level delegation from the patriarchate paid a visit to Abune Merkorios and offered prayers wished for a speedy recovery.

On the 27th of February, 2022, Abune Merkorios has visited Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed of Ethiopia. He hoped for a speedy recovery and also discussed the health condition of Abune Merkorios with the doctors.
