Athens- Greece: Metropolitan Nikiforos, the metropolitan elect of Gortynos and Megalopolis was enthroned as Metropolitan of Gortynos and Megalopolis on November 13, 2022, at the Metropolitan Church of Agia Kyriaki in Dimitsana.

The Enthronement was held in the presence of Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and all Greece and members of the holy synod.

Metropolitan Nikiforos was elected as Metropolitan of Gortynos and Megalopolis on October 06, 2022, by the members of the holy synod and was consecrated as metropolitan on October 08, 2022, at Holy Metropolitan Church of Athens.
