Metropolitan Hilarion Decorated with the Order of Alexander Nevsky by the President of the Russian Federation

Moscow-Russia: Metropolitan Hilarion, the Chairman of the Extern Church Relations Department and rector of Ss Cyril and Methodius Theological Institute of Postgraduate Studies of the Russian Orthodox Church was decorated with the Order of St. Alexander Nevsky by President Vladimir Putin of Russia. The Metropolitan was awarded the order for the great contribution to the development of international and inter-confessional relations.

The even took place at the St. Catherine’s Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace on the 2nd of February 2022. Scientists, doctors, artists and others were decorated during the event for their outstanding contributions.
