Annual Meeting of the Church National Council at the Patriarchal Palace

14/2/2011 On 14 February 2011, the working session of the Church National Council was held in Conventus room of the Patriarchal Palace under the chairmanship of His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church, who read the annual report of the Church National Council entitled: The Church answered the crisis through more philanthropy, concerning the activity of the Romanian Patriarchate. The Church National Council is the central executive body of the Holy Synod and of the Church National Assembly, made up of 12 members of the Church National Assembly, one clergyman and one layman representing each metropolitan see of the country, assigned for four years time and two terms at last.
