Moscow-Russia: Russian Orthodox Patriarchal Exarchate Africa launched an official website. The website includes news about the activities and mission of the Russian Orthodox Church in the African region. The Russian version is currently available. Website pages in English, French, Swahili, German, Arabic, and Greek are under development.

In the greeting letter for the new website, the Metropolitan Leonid of Klin and Patriarch Exarch of Africa stated that “Today the website of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa begins its work. Its opening will allow us to be even more effective in the information field, to timely cover the most important events in the life of the Exarchate, and to inform our readers around the world about the mission of the Russian Orthodox Church in Africa firsthand. I am sure that visitors to this resource will be able to receive here prompt and complete information about the life and work of the youngest Exarchate of the Moscow Patriarchate.”

“The Christian Church from its earliest times has been characterized by cultural diversity and rich ethnic composition. I am convinced that the activity of our Internet resource will also serve the cause of strengthening church evangelism on the multinational African continent and beyond” also stated the Metropolitan.

The Russian Orthodox Church Expands in Africa

The African Exarchate of the Russian Orthodox Church was established by the synodal decision on 29th December 2022.
